Who Are the Elks

The Elks Lodge is a Fraternal Organization founded on the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity; to recognize a belief in God; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its Members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship. We are have over 2000 lodges in communities all over the country, and as an Elks Member, you are welcome at all of them. Our Membership is a non-political, non-sectarian and strictly American fraternity. Proposal for membership is only by invitation from a member in good standing. To be accepted, you must be an American citizen, believe in God, be of good moral character and be at least 21years of age.

DiD You Know....

The Fraternal Order as a whole spends over $80,000,000 every year for benevolent, educational, and patriotic community-minded programs. These programs are in fields benefitting special needs children, sponsoring Elks National Foundation scholarships, scouting, athletic teams, Veteran’s works, a national ‘Hoop Shoot’ free throw contest involving more than 3 million children, physical and occupational therapy programs and patriotic programs.

In Brevard County, we serve Veterans and their families, and children, where we work and the communities we live in. Our goal is to build stronger communities through hosting youth programs, writing grants for Veterans, and raising donations; financially and through volunteerism. Some of the organizations we have supported are Housing for Homeless, Veterans Connections, Family Promise of Brevard, Brevard Family Partnership, One Senior Place, Genesis House, LifeRecaptured, and other valuable charities.

Central Regional Hoop Shoot Winners last weekend (2/1) at Umatilla! These kids competed in the Lodge and District. Off to States!
